Every two years we point the cars somewhere between Brisbane and Sydney, find each other again, and pick up exactly where we left off.

Where we're meeting this time

Northerners and southerners take turns drawing the short straw on travel. Last crewunion was south, so this one is north. Here are the essentials; we're going to Woody Heads campsite. It's National park so we can't book until 6 months out. There are tent and caravan sites as well as cabins.

How to book your bunk

Spots are limited and will get booked out by randoms unless we get in quick. But we can't book until 6 months out from the event, so here's the drill.

Put a reminder in your calendar to book on the 16th Nov 2026.
Make your booking through the Nat parks site.
There's a group camp site - but we don't like the location. Same with the houses.
So, the official crew guidance; go for cabins or tent sites near cabins (see map).
Keep an eye on the whatsapp banter (or just ask Django for a summary).
